Bhutan Shangri-la Tours (14N/15D)

Day 1: (Arrival at Paro )

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will receive by our representative. Depending on our arrival time you will visit Paro Rinpung Fortress, Kichu Temple which was built in 7th century by Songtseng Gonpo in order to subdue giant ogress. Stay in hotel at Paro.

Day 2: Paro to Thimphu

After breakfast drive to Thimphu (capital city of Bhutan) and enroute visit to Tamchog hakhang and Iron Bridge. Further visit Gait Buddha statue located in Kuensel Phodrang, memorial stupa, Changangkha temple, Drupthop nunnery at Zilukha, Dechen Phodrang, Pangri Zampa and Sabji Bazar Zangdo Pelri. Stay in hotel.

Day 3: Thimphu sightseeing

After breakfast hike to Phajoding Monastery which take 4-5hrs started from Northern part of Motithang region and visit Jowo Jampa statue and also you can see bird eye view over city region. Stay in hotel.

Day 4: (Thimphu to Punakha)

After breakfast you will drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass(3050m) which you can view snowcapped Himalayan mountain ranges and drive downward to Punakha where you will hike to visit Chimi Lhakhang(Temple of fertility) and further visit to Punakha Dzong which was former capital fortress of Bhutan. Stay in hotel.

Day 5: Punakha Sightseeing

You will drive to Northern region of Punakha where you will visit Khamsum Yuelly Chorten, Chorten Nyinpo, Drupthop Nagirinchen temple and Wolakha Nunnery. Stay in Hotel.

Day 6: Punakha to Phobjikha

You will drive to Phobjikha glacier valley where you will visit Gangteng monastery and walk through natural trial towards crane centre where you will know special about important of Black Naked crane. Stay in Hotel.

Day 7: Phobjikha to Trongsa

After breakfast drive to Trongsa where you will visit 17th century Trongsa fortress and Trongsa museum which was watch tower over Trongsa Dzong during ancient time. Stay in hotel.

Day 8: Trongsa to Bumthang

Enroute visit to Tharpaling monastery which was founded by Longchen Rebjam and also visit Chumi Yathra production produce from Yak wool. After lunch you will visit Jakar Dzong and Wangdi Choling Palace. Stay in Hotel.

Day 9: Bumthang sightseeing

After breakfast you will visit 7th century temple Jambay Lhakhang, Chakhar dzong, Kuje temple, Zangdo Pelri and after lunch you will visit Padmasambhava temple, Tamzhing Monastery, Kenchosum Temple and Kharchu Dratshang. Stay in hotel.

Day 10: Bumthang Ugyen Choling Palace

After breakfast you will drive to Mebar Tsho which Terton Pema Lingpa revealed treasure from lake and also visit Bapzor Nunnery, Tang Rimochen Temple, Ugyen Choling Palace and while coming back you will visit Kinzang Dra. Stay in hotel.

Day 11: Bumthang to Punakha

You will drive back to Punakha and you will have plenty time for photography and pit stop for stretching leg and rest room. Stay in hotel.

Day 12: Punakha to Paro

You will visit Simtokha Dzong which was first dzong built by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1629 in Thimphu. You will visit dzongdrakha temple and Sang Choling monastery where you will get 360 view over Paro valley. Stay in hotel.

Day 13: Hike towards Chumphu Ney

After breakfast you will hike towards Chumphu Ney where you will visit the Dorji Phagmo statue flooting in air and also you will visit Guru Rinpoches Lhatsho. Stay in hotel.

Day 14: hike to Taktshang (Tiger Nest Temple)

You will hike 3-5hrs hike towards Tiger Nest Temple which is hanging middle of giant clip and tiger nest sacred place was blessed by Guru Rinpoche during 8th century and the temple was built in 1692 by Desi Tenzin Rabgye but unfortunately the original temple was destroy by fire in 1998 and the present standing temple was rebuilt in 2000. Stay in hotel.

Day 15: Departure

According to your flight schedule you will drop at Paro International Airport.
